2nd Sunday Speaker Series: Prairie Seed ID and Harvesting

Event Summary

Brianna Hull, North East Iowa Field Coordinator at Trees Forever, spent two years working with the Tallgrass Prairie Center in Cedar Falls, IA. While there she learned how to identify prairie species and harvest native seed, and she visited countless remnant prairies. Bri will teach us how to determine when different native species are in seed, how to easily identify them, and best practices when collecting seed.
