🎉 Join Us for the Outdoor Girl Overnight Adventure! 🌲🌟

🌸 Calling all adventurous girls! Are you ready to unleash your inner explorer? Join us for Outdoor Girl, an unforgettable overnight program packed with fun, learning, and outdoor skills!🛶 Girls will arrive at camp on Wednesday at 5pm and get picked up on Thursday at 4pm.This is an overnight camp. 

What to Expect:

🌊 Paddle on the water like a pro

🔥 Master the art of fire building

🏹 Test your aim with archery

🎨 Create your own tie-dye masterpiece

🎣 Learn to fish and reel in the big one

🍳 Cook delicious meals in the great outdoors

🌟 And so much more!

🎒 What to Bring: Lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, water shoes (optional), and a bag to carry it all. 

Ages: 11-16

Cost: $100 dollars. This covers all program costs, food, and fuel. No walk ins will be accepted.

Please include any dietary restrictions in the comment section during registration and on the Youth Program Waiver. This overnight is going to be hosted at Big Woods Lake Campground.  

Program Policies: 

 ·All registrations must be done online and no walk-ins will be accepted. If you need assistance in registering for programs online, please call the nature center 319-277-2187 and we will help you.

·Prior to the program, registration materials and waiver must be completed for each participant and turned into the nature center. These materials can be emailed to gcallaway@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov or sent to 657 Reserve Drive Cedar Falls, Iowa 50613

Children can be dropped off starting 10 minutes prior to the start of camp and must be picked up with 15 minutes after the end of camp. If a child needs to be dropped off/picked up earlier/later, please contact Megan at mhamm@blackhawkcounty.iowa.gov.

Refund Policy: Refunds will only be given in the case of a documented medical emergency or funeral for programs more than $10. If program cost is under $10, a program voucher will be offered for a future program. If a program is cancelled due to weather or other unforeseen reasons, then a similar program will be offered in its place.
