Fly Fishing

Event Summary

Gary Thurm, owner of Jig and Fly Shop, will lead this class at the Waverly Duck Pond. The fishing is usually excellent at this location. However, we will practice catch and release since many fish are small and our goal is to teach fly fishing techniques. During this session, children should bring a morning snack and water. It will also be essential to bring/wear sunscreen and a hat since there is little shade.
