The Bremer County Conservation Naturalists Heather Gamm and Kate Mortensen would like to invite you to participate in a fieldtrip to Heartland Acres Agribition Center in Independence, Iowa on August 10th from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Experience the past, present and future of Iowa’s agricultural heritage with hands on learning and a guided tour of a one room school house, machine shed and barn museum.
There is a $15 fee for this trip since BCCB provides transportation. Each student will need to bring their own sack lunch and two water bottles. Old shoes and clothes are recommended as well as hats, sunglasses and sunscreen. The trips will only take place if the minimum of 4 participants is met.
