Event Summary

Looking for a change for the regular pumpkin patch visit? Join us to select a pumpkin, slingshot it into Fontana Lake, paddle out to retrieve your pumpkin (or pumpkin pieces) and then paint a face.  Participants will get a target score for the plunge, a time score for the paddle and a creativity score for the painting. Participants may come anytime between 1 and 3 pm to participate.

Best total score will receive: 1st -  1 night cabin stay; 2nd -1 night camping stay and 3rd -$15 Fontana Nature Center gift shop certificate. Painted pumpkins are yours to take home. Registration fee of $6 per pumpkin - Register PER Pumpkin - (Each child or adult registered purchases pumpkin). Adults not purchasing pumpkins may still assist children in all areas of the activity, but need not register. Children under 12 must be accompanied by adult(s).

WALK-UP REGISTRATION ACCEPTED ON OCT 19 WHILE PUMPKIN SUPPLIES LAST OR HALF PRICE REGISTRATION IF YOU BRING YOUR OWN PUMPKIN (PIE SIZE PUMPKINS RECOMMENDED)​
