Science at Home - Monarch Kit

Fontana Park, Buchanan County

Saturday, August 1, 2020

You will need a habitat to house a monarch caterpillar (aquarium to peanut butter jar – anything that can hold both a caterpillar and fully emerged butterfly) and a source of safe milkweed. We will provide you with either an egg or a caterpillar and instructions on care and a sample datasheet based on age(s) of family members.

RECOMMENDED - My Monarch Journal - Student edition (ISBN1-58469-006-2) the book is no longer in print but is available for about $8 used on Amazon. I am working to get premission to use pages from the publisher.
