Limited Educator grants are available to cover sub pay and materials.



The Jan 9-10 educators' workshop is an energizing 15 hours of activities and discussions. Presentations and activities use the 5 E’s (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate) and the Design/Problem Solving methodologies.  Participants explore energy efficiency and build model solar cars and wind turbines that are used to solve problems.  The workshop will be followed up with interactive sessions with students, a final educators' update and an Energy Games event to celebrate STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathmatics) excellence.
