New Year's Hike - Guy Grover Timber

Event Summary

Start off the first day of 2023 with a guided walk through forest along the Wapsipinicon River at Guy Grover Timber. The forest is covered in oaks, hickories, walnuts, and many other woodland species.  Following the Grover hike, participants can grab a lunch in Independence or Quasqueton (or bring their own), and head to Cedar Rock State Park at 1 p.m. for another walk.  Participants are encouraged to preregister for each walk online.
