New Year's Woodland Walk - Jakway Forest

Event Summary

Start off the first day of 2020 with a guided walk through ​Jakway Forest.  Come experience the largest county managed upland forest in Buchanan County.  The forest is covered in oaks, hickories, and walnuts.  Following the Jakway walk, participants can grab a lunch in Quasqueton (or bring their own) or Winthrop, and then head to nearby Cedar Rock State Park at 1 p.m. for another walk.   Participants need to be sure to register for each walk online.
