Astronomy Night 2021

The Buena Vista County Conservation Board and The Sanford Museum are partnering to offer Astronomy Night. Spend an evening under the moon and stars. The night will begin by identifying the constellations, followed by using telescopes to observe the moon and planets.
The program will be held at Buena Vista County Conservation Park in the South Shelter Area on Friday, June 18th at 9:30 PM. Refreshments are provided. Feel free to bring a blanket and/or chairs to view the stars. If you plan on attending, please let Naturalist Katie know by Wednesday, June 16th by calling 712-295-7985. Buena Vista County Conservation Park is located at 377 440th Street Peterson, IA 51047.

∙ Social distancing is encouraged. You are welcome to bring your own mask and wear it.
∙ Participants will be required to use hand sanitizer before and after touching any objects provided by the CCCB.
