Join the naturalist to get up close and personal with monarch butterflies. Everyone will get an opportunity to tag a monarch. Tagging monarchs is part of an ongoing research project with the University of Kansas to track migrating monarchs. The program will be held Saturday, September 10th at 2:00 PM at Buena Vista County Conservation Park. We will meet at the North Shelter Area. The park is located at 377 440th Street Peterson, IA 51047. Registration is required by Friday, September 9th at 4 PM. Call the conservation office at 712 – 295 -7985 to register.
