This is a non-reservable, pay on site campsite with 30/50 amp electric hookup and a grass pad

You will have one fire ring and one picnic table at this post. Please do not move picnic tables out of the site or move fire rings from designated areas.


Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 02:00 PM.

Location

Beaver Meadows Campground is located at 32078 Highway 14 on the north edge of Parkersburg, Iowa between Beaver Creek and Beaver Meadows Golf Course. 

Park users must access the park using the golf course entrance.

Beaver Meadows Campground provides sixteen 30/50 amp service electrical hookups. 

Camping Pads are grass

Hours of Operation & Seasons

 

Butler County Campgrounds are open for camping May 1 through October 15 depending on weather conditions.

Campgrounds may open before May 1 and remain open after October 15 given favorable ground and weather conditions. Showers, restrooms and running water may also be turned on later than May 1 or before October 15 to keep pipes from freezing.

Closures

Butler County Parks are closed to through traffic between 10:30 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. daily.


Permits

Campers must self-register within one hour of arrival.
Persons bringing kegged alcoholic beverages into Butler County Parks must obtain a permit and pay a damage deposit with the Butler County Conservation Board.
