Junior Naturalist Camp

We have added a second week of Junior Naturalist Camp July 19 - 22!!!

If you were on the wait list, you are in camp. If you have been waiting, now is your chance. Give us a call at 319-278-4237 to get your child registered by July 12 or before camp is full.

We will spend this week learning some basic survival skills (fire building, orienteering, etc.), doing some fishing, learning canoe/kayak skills, hiking and much more while exploring the great outdoors. Upon completion of this camp, campers will receive a Junior Naturalist badge and certificate. Space is limited, so register early. The cost is $30 per child, and camp will take place at various county conservation parks (Information will be included with the camp waiver). Camp will run from 8:00 to 3:30 daily. Campers will need to bring a lunch and refillable water bottle each day. Snacks and all other camp materials will be provided. We will begin taking registrations June 29 until July 12.
