Wolter's Prairie Saunter - Cancelled

Event Summary

UPDATE: This event has been cancelled due to wet conditions of the prairie and parking area as well as forecasted weather for this evenining.

It is Earth Week, and we are leading a hike at Wolter's Prairie Preserve. This Preserve is a native, never plowed prairie site. Will the shooting stars be blooming yet? We don't know, but join us for this saunter through an untouched prairie to see what is happening this spring. This site is often wet so bring boots or shoes that can get muddy and wet, and be prepared for off trail exploration. No need to register for this free event. Just come on out and enjoy some time in the outdoors with the Butler CCB. The hike will meet at the parking lot on the corner of Quail and 195th and walk to the prairie from there. 5:00 PM is the start time for this hike.
