Christmas Bird Count

Event Summary

Join us for a fun day of counting birds! Whether you consider yourself a novice, expert, or just looking for something fun to do, all are welcome! Some folks are heading out extra early to listen for owls at 6:00 am . The rest will be meeting at the Conservation Education Center at 8:00 am for juice, donuts, and forming a game plan based on how many folks show up. You can participate all day or part of the day. If you live within the "count circle", you may participate from home by watching your bird feeders and counting. (see below for image of "count circle")Lunch will be provided for those coming out to help.
