Event Summary
The Cass County Conservation Board is partnering with West Pottawattamie Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) and Iowa Western Community College (IWCC). Thanks to a grant from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources – REAP Conservation Education Project, the West Pottawattamie Soil & Water Conservation District (SWCD) is partnering with Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) to present Rainscaping Loess Soils. We are having a Rain Barrel Workshop at Atlantic IWCC, in Atlantic, IA, Saturday April 14, 2012 9:30 AM -12PM! The workshop will include a program about rainwater harvesting and also include a chance to build a rain barrel to take home. These rain barrels work best connected to a downspout.
