Free Ice Fishing and Snow Shoeing Event - Rescheduled to 2/20/21

Event Summary

The Cedar County Conservation Board will sponsor an ice fishing and snowshoeing event on February 20th starting at 9am.  The snow is deep, the ice is getting thick and there's no better time to get outside and enjoy some winter nature time.  West Rochester Sandpits are located on W. Rochester Ave, just 15 minutes east of West Branch or 15 minutes south of Tipton.  The event is free but pre-registration is required so send an email today to Sarah at naturalist@cedarcounty.org or call: 563-886-6930.

If you previously registered to attend on February 6th, please call or email again to let us know you intend to come on February 20th.  We apologize for the change, but the ice was not safe for the Feb 6th date.
