Ice Fishing Event

Event Summary

Enjoy a morning of ice fishing on Bluebill Lake!  Adults are encouraged to bring children.  Following the fishing a weigh-in will be held to recognize the biggest and most fish caught, and a door prize drawing will be held for both children and adults.  A fun morning of fishing for all is the main goal of this program.  Bring ice fishing equipment, a bucket to put fish in, and dress for the weather.  There will be a limited amount of equipment available for those that need it; or purchase a rod/reel combo and jig for $10.00.  Pre-registration is required - call 641-423-5309 by January 9.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Bluebill Wildlife Area is located on South 40th Street, two miles south of blacktop B-35.
