Spring Break at Lime Creek

Event Summary

The Lime Creek Nature Center welcomes The Science Center of Iowa!   They will bring two demonstrational presentations for a variety of ages.  1 P.M. - Earth Plays Rough (grades 2nd through 8th ): witness the drama of natural disasters in a crash course on the moving and shaking of our planet. Learn about severe weather from earthquakes to volcanoes. 2 P.M. -  Discovering Dinosaurs (preschoolers through 4th grade): put your knowledge to work as you identify different dinosaurs with a hands on fossil find. Registration required - call 423-5309.  This free program is sponsored by the River City Kiwanis.
