Antlers and Aging Workshop

Event Summary

Bring in new or old white-tailed deer antlers to get them measured and officially scored by a DNR Conservation Officer. The basic guidelines and antler measuring techniques will be explained one-on-one with the scorer. We will also demonstrate how to estimate the age of your deer (bring the lower jawbone of the animal).  Learn tips about finding shed antlers. After our discussion we will go outside to try and find sheds that have been placed around the nature center trails. Registration required - call 423-5309.
