Amazon, Galapagos, & Andes

Event Summary

The small South American country of Ecuador has three distinct areas:  the Amazon basin, the Galapagos Islands, and the Andes Mountain highlands.  Join Chuck and Nancy Sweetman for a presentation on their recent trip to this diverse country.  First, they will visit the Amazon rainforest culture and nature.  In the Galapagos, there is evidence of the evolution first observed by Charles Darwin.  Iguanas, birds, and tortoises are highlights amid the raw beauty of the volcanic islands.  Then, they will share their travel on mainland Ecuador and the Andes.  There is no charge but registration is required – call 641-423-5309.
