River Cleanup along the Shellrock River

Event Summary

Volunteers are being sought for a river cleanup on the Shellrock River from Wilkinson Pioneer Park to the Preserve Campground.   Event volunteers will use canoes or kayaks and float along the river picking up any garbage that they find.  You may use your own equipment or we will have canoes available for those that need one.   Volunteers will be given safety gloves and bags for garbage disposal but are asked to bring their own lunch and drinks.   Please contact the Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board office at 641-423-5309 to register, no later than Wednesday, May 27th, to help with this very worthwhile event.
