Chickasaw

Fredericksburg Wildlife Area (FWA) was acquired in 1988 from Glen Elliott.  The Chickasaw Pioneer Chapter of Pheasants Forever and the Izaak Walton League provided funds for the acquisition.  This area and the Jerico Wildlife Area were the first acquisitions for Chickasaw Pheasants Forever.  Grassland is the primary habitat type and a small creek runs through FWA.  Hunting is allowed.
