Halloween Hike: The Real Ice Age

The theme for this year’s hike is ‘The Real Ice Age’. Characters along the trail at this year’s hike include a sloth, saber-toothed tiger, glacial erratic, beaver and a mammoth. There will be refreshments following the hike in the basement of the nature center. There is a $3 charge per person with kids 5 and under free. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Hike times are at 6:00, 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45. Due to limited space available, you must pre-register for the hike by calling 641-394-4714.
