Will you make the cut for attending the most nature activities? We will have activities for all ages from sunrise to sunset. Try your hand at 8 or more Nature Jubilee activities on this day you will get entered to win a 2 night stay at Scharnberg Park! Rain or Shine!

7:00 am – Sunrise hike meet up- Schmerse Wildlife Area

9:00 am – Pond Dipping – Eastside of Oneota Park

10:30 am – Live Barred Owl - Oneota Park

11:30am – Celebrate the 1874 Clay County grasshopper raid by eating insects at Oneota Park. We have the insects, bring your appetites.

12:00 pm-2:00 pm Oneota Park – shelter building, insect hunt, scavenger hunt, bubble explosion, casting contest, nature water play, spiderweb obstacle, Oneota geoglyphs

2:00 pm- Prairie plant bouquet making – Oneota Park

3:30 pm – Reptiles – Oneota Park

5:00 pm- Amphibians – Pete’s Pond

6:00 pm – Dinner with the frogs at Pete’s Pond– Bring picnic dinner and enjoy the evening around the pond

8:00 pm – Nocturnal Animals – Oneota Park

9:00 pm – Firefly Hike - Oneota Park

10:30 pm – Owl Prowl Hike - Oneota Park
