This campsite contains a fire pit, picnic table, and can have one RV or one trailer, or one-three tents on the site. Two motor vehicles are allowed per campsite. Quiet generators can be used in a courteous manner in Clayton County Conservation Campgrounds except for Joy Spring Campground & Frieden Park Campground where generators are prohibited.
ONLINE RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE. RESERVATIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND DATES CANNOT BE CHANGED AFTER RESERVATION IS MADE.

Parks are open to the public from 6:00 am-10:30 pm.
All registered campers may check-in at 3:00 pm and must check-out by 3:00 pm.
The park is closed to non-registered campers from 10:30 pm-6:00 am.
This site is located in a low area and effected by heavy rains and flash flooding. Temporary closures may result after heavy rainfalls. Closures will be listed on our website.

By your agreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 years or older (21 years of age if beer or wine will be available at your campsite) and that you are authorized to make the reservation on behalf of the camping party you have listed. You further agree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions of the members of your group while utilizing said facilities.
Additionally, you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICIES concerning this reservation, and have also read and understand the FACILITY CONTRACT information.
You are reserving a facility in a Clayton County Conservation Board park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATE LAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Ranger listed on your reservation confirmation email if you have any questions about park rules, policies or special requests.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area as outlined, or failure to comply with park rules or state laws may result in enforcement action. Clayton County Conservation may take any legal action necessary to recover damages to county property.

GETTING INTO YOUR CAMPSITE
A camping unit is required. A camping unit isdefined as one to three tents, or one trailer or one motor vehicle specificallydesigned for such use as a temporary residence in a campground. Upon arrival,set up your camping unit on the reserved campsite, ONE Camping Unit Per Campsite. (multiple camping units per site areallowed in certain parks, but each unit must register and pay the camping feeupon arrival)

CLEAN-UPYou are required to clean up the campsite and surrounding area – returning them to the condition you received them. Plan to have your campsite cleaned and people departed prior to the scheduled checkout time of 3:00 PM.
VISITORSAll visitors (other than registered overnight campers) must depart the area by 10:30 PM closing time.
PARKINGAll Motor vehicles must be licensed and the operator must have a valid driver’s license. Vehicles are not allowed off the roadway and/or parking lot, except in designated camping areas.
BEER AND WINEOnly beer with an alcohol content of 5% or less by weight and wine with an alcohol content of 17% or less by weight may be consumed in county parks. Drinking of these beverages is not permitted on roads or in parking areas. Hard liquor and wine with alcohol content in excess of 17% by weight or other alcoholic liquors are NOT to be consumed in county campgrounds. Kegs are prohibited.
MUSIC / NOISE It shall be unlawful to operate or use any radio, television, stereo, musical instrument, power saws, or any similar equipment in or on any area in such a manner as to create excessive noise and/or disturb other persons. All campers shall maintain quiet and avoid excessive noise in the campgrounds during “Quiet Hours”, between the hours of 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM. Quiet generator use is allowed in Clayton County Campgrounds except for two campgrounds which generators are prohibited. Generator use is prohibited in Joy Spring County Park Campground & Frieden Park Campground.
REFUSEAll refuse must be placed in the containers provided. Please recycle redeemable cans in the containers provided.
PETSDomestic animals are allowed, but must be on a leash not to exceed 6 feet. Pets must be cleaned up after at all times. Pets shall not be left unattended outside the camping unit. Park Rangers have the right to remove any pets from the campground should problems arise.
FIRES
All fires must be built in places provided by the county. The cutting of trees, dead or alive, is absolutely prohibited. Campers are allowed to collect firewood from the campground but it must be already dead, on the ground, and can only be collected with the use of hand tools if necessary. No chainsaws or power tools may be used to cut firewood within parks.
CANCELLATION POLICYConsider this policy prior to purchasing a reservation.
Should you choose to cancel a reservation with the Clayton County Conservation Board, you will forfeit 100% of all reservation fees paid. Please call the Clayton County Conservation Office 563.245.1516 to cancel your reservation.
Please understand at the time of booking your reservation you immediately prohibit other people from reserving and utilizing that campsite; therefore, they will go elsewhere to locate a facility for that date.
Name of person on the reservation will be the only person who can cancel a facility reservation. All cancellations of a reservation cannot be done online and must be made by calling 563.245.1516
REFUND POLICYConsider this policy prior to purchasing a reservation.
All reservations with the Clayton County Conservation Board and the $4 Processing Fee is NON-REFUNDABLE. If the Clayton County Conservation Board is unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your reservation(s) a refund will be issued upon request.
