Event Summary
The Motor Motor 5k, hosted by Clayton County Conservation in partnership with the Turkey River Recreational Corridor, takes advantage of those outstanding trails to create an incredible event. Competitive runners will find a unique race experience. A route combining firebreaks, single track and horse trails through rugged terrain make for a challenging but enjoyable course. Less experienced runners and walkers will find a setting where the journey truly is the goal. Few races boast such a blend of the naturally beautiful and historically fascinating.
All proceeds for this year’s event will go towards the construction of new tanks for the live turtles on display at the Osborne Nature Center. This update will include a larger (125 gallon) swim area, water heaters, and UVA/UVB basking lamps to provide a healthier, happier experience for our turtles.
