Motor Motor 5K Trail Run

Event Summary

We have moved the race to March 23rd due to poor trail and road conditions.

The Motor Motor 5k, hosted by Clayton County Conservation in partnership with the Turkey River Recreational Corridor, takes advantage of those outstanding trails to create an incredible event. Competitive runners will find a unique race experience. A route combining firebreaks, singletrack and horse trails through rugged terrain surrounding the Motor Mill historic site make for a challenging but enjoyable course. Less experienced runners and walkers will find a setting where the journey truly is the goal. Few races boast such a blend of the naturally beautiful and historically fascinating.

But make no mistake, this is a true trail run – hills, mud, roots, and rocks mean you need to keep an eye on your footing. While we do our best with course direction and marking, paying close attention to the course map before the starting gun will help minimize any wrong turns. If you can run your personal best on this course, our hats go off to you.Course Map Whether you’re looking for a good tune-up for the summer racing season, a race that’s easier on the knees than pounding pavement, or just a beautiful setting for an endorphin rush on a Saturday, the Motor Motor 5k has got what you need to welcome the coming spring.
