Field Day Fridays: Motor Mill

Event Summary

The site has received a lot of attention from the CCCB’s ecological restoration program, with a renewed focus in recent years on returning fire to the oak woodland and the Grau Memorial Savanna. This walk will discuss the history and ongoing management of the restored prairies and remnant oak savannas gracing this jewel of the Clayton County Park system. Participants should come prepared for roughly two miles of hiking; long pants and water are recommended.
