Osborne's OWLS group will be touring the Oneota Community Food CO-OP in Decorah, IA on November 15th.
The Oneota Community Food CO-OP opened in 1974 in beautiful Decorah, IA. This cooperatively-owned grocery store specializes in organic, local, and sustainably produced products. Co-ops are independent, locally controlled organizations created for the benefit of their community, members, and local agriculture by providing a market for such foods. Find out how this small cooperatively owned store grew to become a favorite place to shop.
Make reservations by calling (563) 245-1516 or visit the Osborne Nature Center. Please meet at Osborne Park at 10:00 for the shuttle ride. Participants can pick up lunch from the deli following the tour.
