Bluebird Nestbox Workshop

Event Summary

Come Saturday, March 7th, at 9:00 a.m. to build a Bluebird nestbox and learn how to care for the Eastern Bluebirds that will soon be nesting and raising their young in it.  All participants will take their completed nestbox home.  Children must be accompanied by an adult during this fun family activity. 

The Osborne Center monitors over eighty Bluebird nestboxes. This information helps document the Eastern Bluebird population throughout the county. Nestboxes have played a crucial role in the recovery of Eastern Bluebirds.
