Clayton County Conservation invites all runners to the 3rd Annual Pony Hollow Trail 15K on November 6th. This race will take you out and back on the scenic, flat, lime-chipped Pony Hollow Trail and the Elkader Exercise Trail. You will appreciate the beauty of this trail as it meanders in the trees along the Turkey River and Robert’s Creek. Be sure to dress warm for this cool, November race.
A long-sleeve performance shirt is guaranteed to all those that register before October 25th. All online registrations close at 2 pm November 5th. Race day registration will go to $40. Packet pickup will be from 7:30-8:45am on race day at the Floral Hall shelter house located in the Elkader City Park. There is also parking and bathrooms located in this area for your convenience.
Race will start promptly at 9 AM near the south trailhead. No parking will be allowed at the start/finish on High Street. Please use the city park and pool parking lot.
The funds raised from this race will be used for future trail expansion efforts to join the two Pony Hollow trail heads into a continuous loop. Not a runner but still want to support this project? Donations can be accepted at Clayton County Conservation. We are also looking for volunteers to help on race day.
