Youth Outdoor Skills Day ~ 8 AM–5 PM ~ Clinton Izaak Walton League ~ Looking for a way to open your child’s eyes to a life of adventure in the great outdoors? Looking for a chance for your child to gain experience with a variety of outdoor skills? We have just the thing! Clinton County kids ages, 11-18, will learn about safety and skills at various stations staffed by various Conservation Organizations such as Pheasants Forever, Harvest-er Bass Club, Whitetails Unlimited, Wild Turkey Federation and Clinton County Conservation. All stations will involve hands-on activities designed to give kids practical experience while keeping safety at the forefront. Parents and younger siblings are encouraged to attend with stu-dents. They will be invited to eat lunch, free of charge, along with participants. All chil-dren must be accompanied by an adult. Each participant will be charged a non-refundable $5 registration fee and receive a commemora-tive T-shirt. Call 563-847-7202 for sign-up.
