Event Summary

Starts Friday, July 29th at 6 PM goes till Sunday, July 31st until 10AM. As a mom of 2 and leading a busy life like most Americans, it is not required to be there the whole time if you have other obligations. Price will still be $30/person. Must arrive during daylight hours to set up camp on Friday or come Saturday during daylight hours.

Where we are staying! Primitive Campsites ~ 1/2 mile hike (1/8 mile is up an incline, we will have wagons to help transport goods.) There are pit toilets in the area but the two modern shower houses are by the nature center and electric campground. We will have to pack in water. Feel free to stay at the campground but it will cost you the price of the site and they are on a first come, first serve basis. If there is inclement weather, we will have access to the nature center. 

Food will be provided as long as there are no special requirements. Friday night hotdogs over the campfire, smores, chips. All other meals will be MRE's (Meals ready to eat, aka dehydrated) plus some fresh fruit, vegetables to supplement, with snacks. You may bring your own food to cook over a fire and/or bring a camp stove and pans to cook with.

Tents (2 person, measurement 4ft 6 in X 7 ft with vestibules to keep extra things dry), sleeping bags (small adult size, 2 ft X 6.5 ft), mess kits, cookware all provided to first-come, first-serve. When registering please indicate what you need. If there are other needs or concerns please contact me.

We will have fun activities planned. Outdoor movie, caving, rock scrambling, games, creek exploration, camp fire with goodies, hiking and more! If your child is too young for a particular activity, a parent may stay back with them or participate as much as they can. Participation in all activities is not required.

A guardian is required to be in attendance at the camp.
