Build Your Own Fishing Rod

Event Summary
Garry Land, a local, guild certified custom rod builder, will be on hand to help you build your very own, unique fishing rod for $45. Depending on skill level and hand/eye coordination, you may have to come back the next day to finish your rod. In any case, the rod will have to be picked up at a future date due to the epoxy having to cure on the “spinners” overnight. Please call Jess at 563-847-7202 with any questions. You must register for this class on www.mycountyparks.com.
Please note on comments what type of rod you would like. 7ft +/- Heavy for bass7 ft +/- XHeavy for catfish, 7 ft +/- Medium, 6.5 ft +/- Medium.
If you can not make it by 5 PM to start just let us know either in the comments or calling the phone # above.
A child may do this class but please be aware that it does take patience along with hand/eye coordination. I would say 12 years of age and up for a child do to their own solo pole otherwise it is a good project to work on together, where the child can take breaks occasionally.
Helpful tools to bring....magnifying glass or cheaters, desk lamp or head lamp.
