Thursday, March 12th ~ Wood Burning 101 ~ 6 PM ~Rock Creek ~ Join Artist Aaron Askelson learn to wood burn Iowa shaped drink coasters with a nature theme. This beautifully simple project is designed for all abilities. The art of Pyrography or wood burning as it is commonly know is easy to learn and can make great gifts for others. Some of the patterns might be animal tracks, mushrooms, or feathers — you decide! Cost is $15 per person (includes one coaster) plus $5 for each additional coaster made (pay that night). Please register for the class by at www.mycountyparks.com. Limit 15 participants.
