Hunter Safety Course (ages 11-16)

Tuesday, August 18, 8:00AM - 4:00 PM ~ FREE ~ Due to Covid, the Iowa DNR has regulations we must follow. No out of state participants, 1-day event, 8 hour day, NO live fire, masks must be worn inside or if closer than 6 feet from other people outside, temperature will be taken morning of camp, no food/drinks provided (bring lunch/beverages or money to buy lunch/beverages and snacks in Camp Store).
The course is open to ages 11-16. We encourage adults to participate with the child(ren) you are with, at no charge and if you need/want to, you may also receive your hunter safety certificate. Register by emailing forms to jsteines@clintoncounty-ia.gov. Medical and waiver forms are due Monday, August 10th for you to be officially registered, space is limited to 20 participants.
