April 9th ~ Building Better Birders and Citizen Scientists Workshop ~ Rock Creek ~ Join us for the first of two days of learning about birds and how we can help them. Funding for this workshop was provided by the Resource Enhancement and Protection – Conservation Education Program (REAP-CEP). This workshop will be conducted by Kelly McKay (BioEco Research and Monitoring Center), assistance from Mark Roberts (Clinton County Conservation) & Brian Ritter (Nahant Marsh Ed. Center). 6:30 AM ~ Bird Watching Cruise on the Blue Heron. Call 563-847-7202 to sign up. 10:00 AM ~ Waterbirds of Iowa. 12:00 PM ~ Feeder Watch and Lunch Break. 1:00 PM ~ Bird Watching Cruise on the Blue Heron.
