Wolves of the Great Lakes

Event Summary

Wolves have had a tumultuous history in Wisconsin (as they have in many areas of the world). They have been both rejected and respected by humans throughout history. In Wisconsin, the gray wolf population has fluctuated from numerous to none and has now bounced back to numbers that are exceeding DNR goals. Join me as we take a closer look at the wolf history, biology and life cycle, management techniques and political status in Wisconsin. This is a FREE program and is intended for older children and adults.
