Event Summary

Rock Creek Campground will be hosting a Spring Fling for the whole family! At 10 AM there will be an egg hunt for both young and wise! 11-1 pm Artist Susan Holgerson will be face painting. At 11:30 Naturalist Jill Schmidt will be presenting a program on "Monarchs & Milkweed," she'll be providing the latest information on these slowly disappearing butterflies and will have milkweed plants to share! Around noon we will be serving cake and refreshments to celebrate the Mississippi River Eco Tourism's 2nd year in operation. At 1 pm Master Gardner's Stanley and Kay Bates will be presenting on "Small Space Gardening" how to garden out of flower pots. The Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance as well as our resident reptiles and amphibians! Fun for all!
