Event Summary

25th ~ Spring Fling ~ 10 AM—2 PM~ Mississippi River Eco Tourism Center, Rock Creek ~ Spend the day celebrating Spring! At 10 AM ~  there will be a  FREE egg hunt for ages 1-12 by the back playground, At 11 AM ~ Join US Fish & Wildlife Service’s Jeramie Strickland as he shares his personal experiences with Ornate Box Turtles. You will get a chance to meet some of these threatened species up close and learn of ways you can help with his research! At 12:30 PM ~ check out some camping hacks in the Eco Center and make your own fire starters to take on your next camping adventure. There will also be crafts, live animals, and other family friendly things to do at the Eco Center!
