Event Summary

25th ~ Cargo for Conservation ~ O.W.L.s ~ Noon ~ MRETC, Rock Creek ~ Learn about the problem of the world trade in illegal wildlife products. We will be showing a vast collection of items made from elephant ivory to endangered turtles. O.W.L.s are people Older, Wiser & Livelier. This is a new series we are trying to establish. Each O.W.L.s event will start off with a hearty cup of soup then feature an educational talk plus artifacts.
