Military Artifacts Roadshow

Event Summary

The public is invited to bring a military artifact (anything from mess kits to unloaded fire arms) to learn more about it from Justin Alliss, a firearms and military historian and former appraiser.   Justin Alliss is well known among central Iowa firearms and military history enthusiasts. He will examine any artifact brought in by the public and pieces from the museum collection. Audience members will get a chance to view a wide range of artifacts from many different eras.  The public can also bring unloaded firearms in to have them examined by Mr. Alliss.  Registration is required for this event.
