Event Summary

When you learn to read a map, compass, and GPS you are prepared to go places where most humans will never allow their eyes to sweep the landscape, nor allow their feet to set on the soil. Learn the basics of reading a topographic map, pair that with a compass, and a hand-held GPS. You will put your skills together to hike the wilds of Kuehn and let your eyes sweep landscapes most people never see. Bring water, a snack, bug repellant, & good hiking shoes. This program requires hiking off trails through prairies, woodlands, & hills. Registration is required for this free program. Space is limited.
