Overview
Sportsman Park has nearby access to the Raccoon River Valley Trail (RRVT) and Dawson Depot. The RRVT is an 89 mile, paved trail that passes through 14 communities in three counties. A permit is required and can be purchased online or at trailheads.

Dawson Depot is open 8:00am-10:00pm daily, May through October.

Fees
- An annual pass for the RRVT is $10 per person. Passes can be purchased online or at yellow trailhead tubes.
- A daily pass is $2 per person and is payable by cash only at yellow trailhead tubes.
