Hometown Heroes Camp - Ages 7-12

Event Summary

Learn about our own "Superheroes" here in Decatur County! This camp includes visits to/with Decatur County Conservation, Decatur County Sheriff's Office, Leon Fire Department, Decatur County Hospital, and more. Cost is $10. Maximum 15 participants. Register by Friday, June 6th at Noon. 

Drop off for camp is 9:00am and pickup is at 3:30pm. If your child is not picked up within 15 minutes of pickup time, we will call the numbers provided. Children may only be picked up by adults on the authorized pickup list. Weather permitting, we will be outside. A snack will be provided each day. Lunch is not provided. Please bring a sack lunch. Please also provide your child with a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, drawstring bag, correct clothing, and a hat and/or sunglasses. All children will be fully supervised by the DCCB Naturalist and/or AmeriCorps Naturalist Interns. If camps are to fill up, your child will be put on a waiting list. If a spot opens, DCCB will give you a call and see if camps still fit in your schedule.
