Event Summary

In the springtime, Iowa has some special plants that we like to call "Spring Ephemerals". Ephemeral means "short lived" or "lasting for a very short time", which is a good description for these special plants. Join us in learning how to identify the spring ephemerals found in Iowa and what they mean for the ever changing landscape. Meet at Slip Bluff Overlook parking lot. Dress to hike and for the weather. FREE to the public. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
