Wild Edibles Walk

Event Summary

Join Naturalist Kayla at Slip Bluff Park to learn about wild edible plants (that you can probably even find in your backyard!). Learn the laws when it comes to foraging, how to identify wild edible plants, and even try some samples!! Wild Edibles in Your Backyard, a guide booklet made by Kayla, will be for sale at this event for $5 a booklet. Please indicate when you sign up if you would like to purchase a booklet. This event is FREE, but you must register by Friday, May 14th at Noon. All ages are welcome, children must be accompanied by an adult. Dress for the weather and for hiking around the park.
