By youragreement with these terms and conditions, you represent that you are 18 yearsor older (21 years or older if alcohol will be present) and that you are authorizedto make the reservation on behalf of the group you have listed. You furtheragree to assume full responsibility for the acts, negligence or omissions ofthe members of your group while utilizing said facility.
Additionally,you agree that you have read and understand the CANCELLATION POLICY, REFUNDPOLICY and all facility rules contained in this document concerning thisreservation. You arereserving a facility in a Decatur County park. ALL COUNTY PARK RULES AND STATELAWS ARE ENFORCED. Contact the Park Office if you have any questions about parkrules or policies.
Failure to clean up the facility or surrounding area asoutlined or failure to comply with park rules and state laws may result inenforcement action. Decatur County Conservation may take legal action necessaryfor noncompliance or to recover damages to county property.
CHECK-INTIME: After 5:30 AM
CHECK-OUTTIME: Before 10:30 PM
Rental Period:
DecaturCounty Conservation Board shelters will be rented for the full day only, nohalf day rentals.Gettinginto facilityTheshelter is available to you at check-in time. The park staff will have yourshelter marked as “RESERVED” prior to your arrival. The enclosed CoffeltShelter will be unlocked before your check-in time.
Clean-Up:
You arerequired to clean up the facility and surrounding area and return them to thecondition you found them. Plan to have the facility cleaned and personsdeparted prior to check-out time.
Smoking:
DecaturCounty Conservation is a smoke free environment. Smoking is prohibited in allbuildings.
Parking:
Parking is confined to designated parking areas. No parking onor driving off roadways. If you anticipate more vehicles than dedicated spaceprovided, please contact the park office in advance.
Decorations and Directional Signs:
Temporary, free standing signs are allowed…Do not attach to parkfurniture, signposts or buildings. Do not affix decorations with nails,staples, heavy tape or any other substances that can mar or harm facility.Special care is to be taken with balloons so they do not escape. Remove ALLsigns and decorations.
Alcohol:
NO kegsare allowed in the park. NO hard alcohol allowed. Beer and wine are allowed.
Music:
Bands, DJs and other amplified sound and music are allowed. Donot disturb others in the park… you may be notified by park staff to lower thenoise level if they deem it is too loud. All sound sources must be turned offby 10:00 PM.
Refuse:
Your shelter is Carry-in and Carry-out. Remove all trash(including water balloon waste) to the large park dumpsters or take it withyou. Do not use restroom trash receptacles for your picnic area trash andleftovers.
Pets:
Pets are allowed and must be on a leash not to exceed 6’ at ALLtimes. You are required to clean up after any pets in your group.
Special Activities:
Inflatable play equipment, pools, slip and slides, carnivalactivities, large smoking or grilling equipment and tents are prohibited.Considerations may be allowed by calling the park office.
Date Changes:
All reservation date changes must be made by calling the parkoffice at least 7 days prior to your reservation date. You may change dates uptwo times and changes must be for the same year as the original reservation.
Cancellation or Refund:
ALL funds will be forfeited should you choose to cancel yourreservation. Refunds will be allowed if one of the following occurs:The National Weather Service has issues severe weather andtravel is not recommended or we are unable to provide your facility or likefacility on the day of your event.
