    Cancellation Policy

    SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO CANCEL A RESERVATION, YOU WILL FORFEIT 100% OF ALL RESERVATION FEES PAID. Please call the Des Moines County Conservation Board Office at (319) 753-8260 to cancel your reservation.

    Refund Policy

    All reservations with Des Moines County Conservation Board facilities are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE. If the Des Moines County Conservation Board is unable to provide your facility (or like facility) in operable condition for the date of your event, however, a full refund will be issued.

    This site is approximately a 39 x 57, back in gravel pad big enough for two units. 

    • Reservations must be made 5 days in advance of the date of reservation.
    • We have a No Refund policy; however, if you need to cancel your reservation you have one opportunity to reschedule. Be sure to read the DMCC Refund Policy below for details.
    • This is a Buddy Site. One person reserves the site for two campers.
    • This site has 1 fire ring, 2 picnic tables and two sets of electrical hookups.
    • This site is electric only. Fresh water and dump station available next to the shower house.

    Check-In / Out Availability Check-in is after 03:00 PM and check-out is before 03:00 PM.

    Location Big Hollow Recreation area is located at 18853 152nd Ave., Sperry, IA 52650. Google Map. At the stop sign, turn West into campground from 152nd Ave. Turn right at the Y at top of hill and take the turn South into the campground. Site 114 / 115 will be the fifth site on your left.

    50, 30 & (2) 20 amp outlets on each side of the site. Fire ring and picnic table at site. Firewood available for purchase.

    Fees

    $50 per night (for two campers), two night minimum for reservation. Holiday weekends (Memorial Day, Labor Day and 4th of July if it falls on a Friday or Monday) require 3 nights to reserve.
